Lou's Story

Lou Hernandez has been working on HVAC systems in the Denver metro since 2014. He started in the industry as a technician, spending years learning the trade from the inside: how systems work, how they fail, and what it really takes to diagnose a problem correctly the first time.

He formally incorporated Lou's Heating & Cooling LLC in 2022, but the business has its roots in nearly a decade of hands-on service work across the Front Range. Lou's Christian faith and his family shape how the company operates day to day — honest answers, fair prices, treating customers like neighbors.

Lou started his own company for one reason: he kept seeing homeowners get burned. A loose connection would become a $3,000 "equipment failure." A dirty coil would become a full system replacement quote. A simple capacitor swap would come with a 2-hour labor charge and a shopping list of "recommended" services. He was tired of it.

At Lou's, the job is to find the simplest honest solution. If a $150 repair will keep your furnace running reliably for several more years, that's what Lou recommends, not a new furnace. If a tune-up will restore your AC to full capacity, you're getting a tune-up quote, not a replacement proposal.
